Payment Methods

A credit card or prepayment for service is required to schedule appointments at The Springs. No shows will be charged to the card on file for the full service fee. Payment is expected at the time of visit. We accept cash, checks, & credit cards, branded gift cards issued by The Springs (sale of branded gift cards ended 4/30/2023), and Visa/Mastercard/Amex gift cards. We do not accept Spa Finder or Spa Wish gift cards. Returned checks will result in a $25 fee in addition to any fees your bank may charge.

How to Schedule Appointments

All appointments must be scheduled by phone at this time. New patients (and if you haven’t been seen since 10/1/2023) will need to register in our EMR software. A credit card is required to schedule appointments. If you choose not provide a credit card to hold appointments, you may call for same day availability. We will not schedule appointments in advance without a credit card to secure the appointment slot.

Electronic consents and forms will be sent in advance. If you arrive without completed forms, it may reduce your treatment time, so please complete them before you arrive, or plan to arrive early. We require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule appointments without a fee. Please call for guidance if you wake up ill, or have an emergency the day of your appointment. No shows will be charged the full fees for services missed to the card on file.

General Etiquette

New clients need to complete registration forms which are sent via email in secure links at the time you schedule. Please call ahead for instructions if you do not have email.

If you are being treated for a Motor Vehicle accident, there are additional forms you will need to complete. We will provide instructions when you call for appointments for these types of injuries.

We require 24-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Less than 24-hour notice, or failure to call to cancel/no show, will result in a charge equal to the full-service fee.

Your consideration for clients scheduled after you is appreciated. Time may be deducted from your treatment if you arrive late, and is at the discretion of the provider. You will be charged the full-service fee, even if your treatment time is shortened due to late arrival.

Can I use FSA or HSA funds?

You may be able to use your contributions for acupuncture or massage. For massage therapy coverage, you will need a prescription from your doctor.

Insurance Coverage

Insurance benefits for acupuncture vary by policy. Standard medical insurance does not cover massage therapy, mineral baths, or signature services, even with a prescription.

You are responsible for contacting your insurance company to verify coverage, policy limitations & out of pocket responsibility. Please call if you do not have insurance coverage to discuss options & costs.

The Springs accepts No-Fault for motor vehicle accidents for both massage and acupuncture. Please call the office for more information about how to obtain authorization.

How do you maintain my privacy?

As a service offered by Rochester Regional Health, we follow the same rules and regulations relating to confidentiality and privacy as all other departments. We will never sell your information to any third party, nor will we provide information to any other party unless required by law. You will be given the Rochester Regional Health Notice of Privacy Practices upon your first visit. You can also view our Privacy Policy

Discount & Coupon Policies

Discounts & coupons may not be combined with other offers or promotions unless otherwise specified & are NOT applicable to insurance copays or coinsurance.

  • Rochester Regional Health Staff: 10% service discount w/ ID badge. You must present your badge to receive a discount.
Gift Cards

Gift cards do not expire. We are currently not selling branded gift cards to The Springs, but can accept prepaid Visa or Mastercard gift cards. You MUST present the previously issued card/certificate at time of service to redeem. We are unable to look up the number.
