Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a medical practice based on principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) developed over 4000 years ago. Treatment involves inserting thin, sterile, disposable needles into neurovascular nodes on the body – commonly known as acupuncture points.
Massage Therapy
Manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, consisting primarily of manual (hands-on) techniques such as applying fixed or movable pressure, holding, and moving muscles and body tissues.
Spa for Kids
We welcome guests of all ages. Offering spa treatment options for kids include mineral bath, massages, and hair treatments. Anyone under the age of 18 requires written parental consent. Parents may be asked to remain in the room with the child depending on age.
Mineral Springs Baths
Historically, Clifton Springs was classified as sulfur, which means that sulfur was the predominant element measured. Today, the specific levels vary depending on where the water level in the aquifer is flowing, but the water contains a high level of minerals like magnesium and calcium which are beneficial for reducing pain and inflammation.
Signature Services
We combine several elements into one service for full-body experience based on the Eastern European tradition of using moor peat for therapeutic purposes.
Ayurvedic Bodywork
Ayurveda reveres the use of copious amounts of various oils (tailam) in bodywork. Common base oils include coconut, sesame, and ghee, and some medicated tailams are infused with powerful Ayurvedic herbs to elicit specific effects.
Additional amenities like Nail & Skin Care provide a full spectrum of care including gentle treatments safe for those with sensitive skin, those with chronic medical conditions & diabetics, and those seeking treatments with natural, botanical-based products, with hospital-based disinfection protocols. We provide referrals to medical specialists as needed for advanced conditions.
